Chowan County Fair

We went to the fair and realized we forgot a camera so we had to buy a cheap disposable one when we got there. The pictures didn't turn out too bad, but you can definitely tell the difference with the cheap camera. I now know how much I have taken for granted with having such a nice camera to take beautiful pictures!

We couldn't go to the fair and not get some delicious fried dough!

Fall begins!

we went to Oregon Inlet at the outer banks for Labor day weekend with our friends. We forgot to charge the camera before we left so we didn't get many pictures. But we had fun camping!


Sophia loves to talk on the phone. So anytime you want to talk, Sophia will be glad to hear what you have to say!
She also likes to help fold laundry. But for some reason, she always seems to find a pair of my underwear to put over her head. kind of weird!


Our friends Joellen and Madelyn spent the night when the tropical storm came through because Matt had to take a plane to West Virginia to get it out of harms way.


Here is our flooded neighborhood after the storm.


We gave Sophia a bubble bath and she didn't know what to think of it at first. She finally warmed up to it though and had a good time!

Our friend Elizabeth came for a visit for a day and bought us a huge pumpkin!

We went to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens on Lance's Birthday

Our cat came in the house with a bunny the other night. But it was already after Sophia went to bed and she loves bunnies so we put it in a box so we could show her the next morning. She was so excited! We let it go back to its mommy in the morning. It was very happy to go!

We were out on the boat and saw a bald eagle! It was beautiful! Hard to get a good picture of though.
